Alligator Gar Scale Earrings (Copy)
These bone earrings are made of ethically sourced animal bones and/or teeth.
Alligator gars are a type of fish (the largest species in the gar family of fish) and are among the largest freshwater fishes within North America. These fish can be traced back in fossil records to over 100 million years ago. Their scales are not similar to scales of other fishes, instead they are bone-like often with serrated edges, covered by an enamel-like substance. Their ganoid scales are nearly impenetrable and provide excellent protection against predators.
* All bones items may vary slightly in shape, size, coloring due to Mother Nature being amazing
